I know you’ve likely heard this before just as I have, but for some reason either my frugal self or lazy self decided not to pay attention.  I’ve purchased numerous higher end name brand products on Amazon or in a box store that is most likely not licensed to sell the products.   These products range from make up to hair products.

If you too have ever bought a hair product or make up normally only sold in Salons, but your on Amazon and it’s really cheap so  you decide to buy it there instead what your actually buying could be a counterfeit.  In all fairness it could also be the real stuff, but what if it isn’t?  It’s not like a purse where you’re the only one who will know,  beauty products could actually harm you since you’re putting it on your biggest organ, your skin!

I didn’t realize some of these products  can be harmful, ineffective, not to mention their not always  that much cheaper.   Some of these products are made with ingredients not listed on the bottle and can be toxic, burn you, give you a rash, or give your other bad reactions.  Also, if you have allergies these products could very well have allergens in them you need to stay away from.

Manufacturers  will not guarantee their products unless purchased from their approved suppliers to insure the products have not been faked or altered.

Good rule of thumb if a higher end product is really cheap or sold somewhere that they wouldn’t normally sell the product pass it up…
