Best sunscreens for sensitive skin

I’m so ready for spring and summer how about you?  I’ve got a serious itch to lay in the sun on my patio and soaking up vitamin D.  The itch could also be caused by the fact that my best friend lives in Arizona and her weekend consisted of the picture above while mine consisted of non stop rain and gray sky.

On the bright side all of my tulips, about 150 of them ( yes, I have a problem) are starting to pop up so I’m confident the sun is coming soon regardless of the Groundhog.

While I want the sun to come out and love the sun I don’t like the opportunity to get sun burned so I’m really careful to make sure I use sunscreen when I’m in the sun.  I only use and love mineral based sunscreens.   I’m not a fan of all the chemicals in many of the sunscreens on the market today.   I also have a severe coconut allergy and all its byproducts so reading labels and finding products that are good for me and good for the earth are important.

If you have sensitive skin or you’re looking for a great natural sunscreen  check out the Badger Sunscreen line and Jane Iredale dry sunscreen.  Badger makes some great children’s sunscreen as well without all the chemicals.  The dry sunscreen is very portable and purse friendly, it lasts a long time, no mess to apply and goes a long way!

Both product lines can be ordered online via the links below!  Here’s to some sunny days soon….
